Data we collect
When you email us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, the content of your message and anything you attach.
When you visit the website. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver pages to you and keep the service secure. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the date and time of the request and the referring page. This data is kept in server logs.
What we do not do. The website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not load fonts, scripts or images from third parties. There are no accounts or forms on the website.
How we use data and our legal bases
- To reply to your message and handle your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To run and protect the website, for example to deliver pages, fix errors and prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.
- To comply with the law, for example to keep records or respond to lawful requests from authorities. Legal basis: legal obligation.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with:
- service providers that host the website and our email, who process data on our behalf and under our instructions;
- professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed;
- authorities, courts or regulators when the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. When this happens, we make sure the transfer is protected, for example because the country is covered by UK adequacy regulations or because we use the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep data
- Emails: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we need to keep them longer for legal reasons.
- Server logs: for a short period set by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted automatically.
Links to other websites
The website links to app stores and other third-party websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
